Our Commitment to Jonesboro
Dr. Shane Smith and the rest of our team are always happy to help out with local schools, community events, and charitable organizations. We love living and working in Jonesboro, AR, and we want to do our part to make sure our neighbors and neighborhoods are healthy, happy, and thriving. We love having the opportunity to be good neighbors.
Some of the community outreach we’ve done lately includes:
Local Schools and Opportunities for Learning
Arkansas State University: Donated dental supplies for Pre-Dental students who were organizing on-campus care packages for students and faculty.
Rivercrest School Kids: Donation of toothbrushes for kids in occupational and physical therapy.
Odyssey of the Mind: We sponsored a team of local kids to travel to the national competition.
Paint the Town Red: We show our support by painting our windows for A-State Football. We hope to win the competition someday!
Arkansas State Community Fair & Back the Pack Rally: Welcoming the new students on campus and supporting A-State athletics. Give-aways and prizes!
Charitable Donations and Sponsorships
The Stage: We have sponsored this local, non-profit theatre group since they opened in 2021. Newsies, The Little Mermaid, ELF, and The Music Man.
Fork Cancer: We supported this event organized by the American Cancer Society.
Lions Club: Showing our support for our military, active duty, veterans and fallen. The Lions Club proudly displays our American flag at our office for appropriate national holidays.
Mission of Mercy: Our team donated their time to help those who are less fortunate and have limited access to dental care needs.
AG for Autism: In office-whitening giveaway to support this great cause!
Charity Ball: Dr. Smith and his wife attend this charity event put on by the Junior Auxiliary Group.
Chamber of Commerce and Professional Development
Chamber of Commerce: We participate in the Business Expo every year. Always a fun theme to put on and get our name out in the community.
Jonesboro Young Professionals Network (JYPN): We help nurture future business leaders through this organization as well as our own.
Emerging Leaders: This program provides classes from business professors and connects local businesses with “mentors” with high positions in large companies. Dr. Smith completed the program in 2022.
Downtown Jonesboro
Localfest: This music festival supports the arts, and we support it! Our team member, Terra and her husband have great musical talent and participated in 2022!
Joyfest: Local Christmas holiday event with a complete Christmas village for the community and decorated tree sponsored by Dr. Smith.
